PREVENTIVE MAINTENANCE
Maintenance is the key activities for utilities in order to assure proper operation of the network. The availability of reliability and quality of power has made role of transmission lines and substations more important in the society. Maintenance can keep equipment in good condition and avoid equipment from breakdown or failure. Preventive maintenance program provides our customer with confidence and trust that their power system is function properly, safely, and reliably. and it will also help company minimize the risk of equipment damage.

We Have Overhauled Of Power Transformer On OLTC (BTSS: 25 MVA, SRSS: 50 MVA)
Tap changer is a device which can increase or decrease the output secondary voltage by changing the turn ratio or Primary or secondary winding. Tap changer is generally installed on high voltage side of a two winding transformer due to low current in this side.
We have overhauled OLTC and checked up all contact diverted switch and cleaned up the accumulated dirt and OLTC is a busy part of power transformer. We were supervised by overhauling team with two services: technician of Daihen and overhauling of OLTC. This work was also joined by CPTL and EM. We did preventive maintenance by checking loosen bolts and tightening
them, having visual inspection and purifying oil on OLTC to the tank.
