(Cambodia) Power Transmission Lines Co., Ltd (CPTL)<\/strong>, a local investment company, is set up to develop\u00a0 power transmission network in North-western Cambodia in 2006. An initial project, consisting of 221km of 115kV Transmission Lines and 4 Substations and 1 switching station<\/strong>, was undertaken on a 30-year Build-Operate-Transfer (BOT) basis.<\/p>

The Power Transmission Agreement was signed on 29th\u00a0April 2005 between the Royal Government of Cambodia (RGC), represented by the Ministry of Industry, Mines and Energy (MIME) and Electricit\u00e9 du Cambodge (EDC) and CPTL. An extension project, consisting of new Transmission Lines 115kV of 27km, a new substation in Siem Reap and extension of the existing substation in Siem Reap and Industrial Estate substation in Banteay Meanchey, was approved by RGC in a form of 22 year BOT while the supplemental agreement was signed on 6th February 2015.<\/p>

The project is part of the National Grid for North-western Cambodia and the future Greater Mekong Sub-Region (GMS) interconnection network to enable power either from Thailand and other source transmittible to 3 provinces of Cambodia, including Banteay Meanchey, Siem Reap and Battambang.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t

\nIn addition to the company\u2019s strong intention to contribute to the country\u2019s economic growth through its investment, CPTL also executed other projects through participation with bidding and process with EDC such as:\n
<\/i>Design, Supply, Installation, Testing and Commissioning of 230kV and 115kV Outdoor Substations. Replacement of 115\/22kV, 75MVA Power Transformer at IE Substation which was completed in June 2025.\n
<\/i>Desing, Supply, Installation, Testing and Commissioning of Modification 22kV & 115kV Concrete Poles at Weigh Station for National Road No.5 Improvement Project (Thlea Ma\u2019am-Battambang and Sri Sophorn-Poipet Section) which was completed in June 2025.\n
